Well, we have been rather quiet on here for some time. For this we can only apologise.
2019 was a very busy year for us, freelance staff out on various jobs, equipment being updated and maintained. And my West End debut as a lighting designer.
Rip it Up 60’s went into the Garrick Theatre London at the start of February for an 18 week run.
The set was up redesigned for this, making it bigger with more LED built into it for colour and versatility.
The show went from 3 star leads on tour, to 4 star leads for London. The original line up of Aston Merrygold, Harry Judd and Louis Smith, then they were joined by Jay McGuinness. All had been Strictly Come Dancing winners at some stage in their careers, as well as being huge stars in their own right.
They were joined by a fantastic team of dancers, vocalists and musicians to give an energetic performance, keeping the audience up dancing from the start.
Directed and Choreographed by Gareth Walker, Musical Director Barnaby Dickinson Set Design by Steven Howell, Sound design by Tom Cox, Lighting Design by myself, and video content design by the team at CS Media.
